The Tunisian American Chamber of Commerce participation in Fancy Food Show - San Francisco
The Tunisian American Chamber of Commerce with close cooperation of the FAMEX (Fund for the Access to Export Markets) organized a business trip to the winter Fancy Food Show (San Francisco, 18 -20 January 2009). The main objective of the mission was to promote Tunisian products to the professionals in the agribusiness sector in USA. Five Tunisian agribusiness companies introduced their products to the US visitors and exhibitorsunder “Taste of Tunisia” title, namely; Jrah International (The Finest™), Stifen Fruit, Sun Antipasti (Jardins de Carthage™), Huilerie Moderne de Tunisie, and Sidi Daoud.
A wide range of Tunisian agribusiness products like harissa, tuna and sardine, canned fruits, jams, sun dried tomatoes and pure Tunisian olive oil were exhibited during the show and widely sampled.
During the three days of the show, TACC booth was well visited. The Tunisian products were well appreciated. Many visitors showed interest in the products and inquired about their distribution in the USA.
